When doing a RawthenticPlus cleanse one of the best things you can do is take time to properly prepare. Psychologically it can be challenging to begin a cleanse, extreme even; by binging or not eating enough but neither of these are going to set you up for success.
With that said, properly preparing for your cleanse can help calm any challenging symptoms by reducing shock to your system. I highly recommend removing and avoiding alcohol, highly processed foods (anything with more than 3-5 ingredients) for several days prior to starting your cleanse.
The rule of thumb is that for each day you will be on the cleanse you should add a day of preparation before and a day of easing off once you end. Therefore, eating clean a few days prior to your cleanse (preferably a whole foods plant based diet) will help ease you into the cleanse. A beautiful array of colorful veggies for lunch or dinner, and a smoothie in the morning is ideal. Check out our instagram post for inspired ideas!
Your desire to reset and cleanse should be connected to your deeper why and I recommend creating a plan that is sustainable for you.
This is the blueprint to setting yourself up for success, and reaching your goals outside of your cleanse.
Over the course of your cleanse, drink your first juice after awakening, and consume your next juice in order every two hours. This is meant to maximize the nutrients in each blend.
Movement is a crucial part of wellness and it too is a great start to new habits. During your cleanse, take time out to practice meditating and gentle yoga. Go on a walk in nature and get some fresh air, and schedule a massage.
Stress should be avoided and by that it means ensuring that you do not schedule your cleanse during a time that would make it difficult for you to focus i.e. social activities where others may not be in support of your goals.
Hydration is key and your body will thank you! Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and flush toxins. Consume water in between each #RawthenticPlusJuice to maximize hydration.
Sleep at least 8 hours a night.
Tip: Prior to going to bed, take a relaxing bath, add Epsom salt and your favorite essential oil i.e. lavender
If you find yourself hungry, and you must eat, do not quit, it is okay! Consume a raw fruits and vegetable smoothie to curb your appetite.

When ending your cleanse it should be similar to the preparation for your cleanse. In order to obtain the maximum benefits you will want to always ease your way into introducing solid foods. Keep your meals small, stick to foods that are Organic (when possible), Whole Food Plant based.
TIP: Always Order and stock up on a few extra juices to sip on in the mornings and to have for snacks.
